Near the camping park you have a connection to the S-Bahn, which takes you directly to the city centre of Essen or to Düsseldorf and Cologne without changing trains. Discover a piece of German history and visit “Villa Hügel” the former domicile of the world famous entrepreneur family Krupp. In the city centre of Werden you can visit historical sites such as the dome, the old city hall and the Benedictine monastery.
Go on a bike tour on the Ruhr Valley track and enjoy the nature, which has spread over the ruins of the coal mines! The musical theatre of “Starlight Express” in Bochum can be reached easily by public transport.
