The town, which is only 3 km away, offers numerous attractions, including the impressive Crystal Museum and the Glass Barn. At the train station, there is the option to transfer to the free forest railway, which leads to many popular hiking trails in the region. During the journey, travellers can enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings of the Bavarian Forest.

A popular destination for bathing fans is the nearby open-air pool, which offers great fun with slides, diving pools and water games, especially in summer.
