The KNAUS Campingpark Nürnberg is embedded in a dense mixed forest in the middle of the local recreation area Dutzendteich. It is surrounded by the football stadium, the public pool, the ice-arena and the fair grounds.
It is 3 km away from the A9 motorway and therefore ideal for a stop-over to the South. It is also very interesting for business people who participate in one of the international fairs which are taking place right next to the campsite. Annual events such as the “Rock im Park” festival or the DTM-Championship are taking place 500 meters away so it is ideal as a starting point for a visit.
Also the PALAZZO by Alexander Herrmann has its tents next to the KNAUS camping park every year from November to March. You can look forward to enjoyable hours in which masterful cooking meets award-winning acrobatics, and exquisite delicacies are offered in a relaxed and humorous atmosphere.
The historic city centre of Nuremberg with the famous castle is only 6 km away and easily to be reached by public transport. Numerous museums, a large number of various cultural events and sights are inviting for a visit. Also the well - known zoo and the extended pedestrian area welcome you to stroll around enjoying nice restaurants, cafés and shops.
Nuremberg offers countless attractions: World famous delicacies such as German Lebkuchen and Bratwurst, the magic of the golden ring of the “Schönen Brunnen” to make your wishes come true, and much more.
The bizarre rock formations and special trails in the Franconian Switzerland are very popular for day trips and worth seeing. Numerous leisure and thematic parks in and around Nuremberg guarantee a lot of fun for the whole family. The most favourite things are the adventure pool “Kristall Palm Beach” (12 km), the adventure park Thurn Castle (50 km), Tucherland (11 km) and the Playmobil FunPark (22 km). The big kids may have a lot of fun in the neighbour of the Carrera World with 2.200 square meters of pure adrenalin.
