The family-friendly Sportcamp Woferlgut is located in the heart of the Salzburger Land and only 3km away from Lake Zell. The best water fun for young and old is also available directly on site: The campsite offers its guests not only its own bathing lake, but also a spacious bathing world with five pools and a total of 4,500m² of water surface. Pure relaxation can be found in the spacious sauna world or with a massage in the wellness area.
Action fans also get their money's worth at the Woferlgut. The varied sports programme includes guided hiking and cycling tours, rafting tours and go-karting. A must-see on a Salzburg holiday is the famous Krimml Waterfalls, which at 380 metres are the highest in Europe. A path leads up along the height of the falls, always accompanied by the roar and rush of the falling water. On fine days, the water mist not only cools you down, but also creates iridescent rainbows. A visit to the nearby WasserWelten Krimml, which manages the balancing act between nature, knowledge and entertainment, is also highly recommended.
Take a detour to the provincial capital of Salzburg and enjoy the special flair of the world heritage site and the view of the Hohensalzburg Fortress in one of the cafés on the Salzach. While you're there, try one of the regional delicacies such as Salzburger Nockerln or Mozartkugeln. In the centre of the picturesque old town is the world-famous Getreidegasse. In addition to Mozart's birthplace, there are numerous other historic buildings and the so-called "Durchhäuser".
